THE JOY OF ART # 25, Dancing Brushes, 1981

During these increasingly insecure times around the world let’s

savor the quiet joy of discovering art - at Museums, Galleries, in Life,

and within ourselves.

These playful oil paintings, like dancing brushes on paper, are

part of a series of 12  (22” x 30”) (56 x 76cm) paintings from 1981.

Private collections.

I want to share the joy of creating art - free of issues and trends.

“No Rules”, David Smith. Whereas the spirit of the Bauhaus

economy guides my art, play creates it.

“It is a happy talent to know how to play”, Ralph Waldo Emerson.
